Interns who will reside on Clemson's campus should arrive on Tuesday evening, June 9, 2009; commuters to both Clemson and Clark Atlanta arrive on Wednesday morning, June 10, 2008

Mandatory orientation session for ALL participant interns on location at Clemson University and Clark Atlanta University, June 10 , 2009, 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
- Mandatory seminar for ALL participants (Clemson and Clark Atlanta interns) at Clemson University, June 22 - 23, 2009
- Clark Atlanta participants arrive at Clemson University Sunday evening, June 21, 2009; housing and meals will be provided for two days/nights (6/21 – 6/22; depart in the afternoon on 6/23)
- Two-day seminar on the Legacy Cycle, a challenge-based learning cycle developed by Vanderbilt faculty that is supported by the book How People Learn. Seminar instructor: Dr. Stacy Klein, Vanderbilt University
- Weekly seminars on research methods, laboratory practice, laboratory safety and polymer science
- Final program:
- Banquet and speaker, July 22, 2009, 5:30 - 8:00 pm at Clemson University
- Housing and meals for Clark Atlanta interns, advisors and mentors will be provided for one night (7/22; depart on 7/23
- Exit interviews with program director, July 21-22, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
