The graduate students and post-doctoral research associates who are mentoring our EFF-X interns play a critical role in their development as researchers. Faculty advisors will direct the research projects, but the mentors are the ones who answer day-to-day questions, provide role models, and share in the frustrations of trying to do things that have never been done before. The materials provided here are meant to support the EFF-X mentors. Please use the Project Planning Guide to outline the steps and short-term goals for the EFF-X interns’ projects.
Be sure to complete the Grad Student Evaluation Form by the end of the program, in order to be eligible for a stipend supplement.
