Industry Day was organized for CAEFF students and personnel from the polymer film and fiber industry to exchange information on internship, co-op, and employment positions that are available in industry. In addition, industry personnel learned about CAEFF research, as well as opportunities for collaboration, entrepreneurship and process development through CAEFF.
The event was held at the Hendrix Student Center at Clemson University on February 7, 2006. About 30 students and 10 faculty from Clemson University, Clark Atlanta University and MIT attended, along with about 15 representatives from industry. Dr. Caron St. John from the Spiro Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at Clemson University was a guest speaker during the luncheon discussion panel. The luncheon discussion panel was followed by oral and poster presentations by students. Follow the links above for summaries of presentations and discussions.
